United Way of Pasco County Announces First Wave of COVID-19 Relief Fund Agency Recipients

Land O’ Lakes, FL – Last week United Way of Pasco County (UWPC) earmarked $50,000 to the newly formed COVID-19 Relief fund. This fund was designed to assist non-profit agencies with the increase demand in food, hygiene products, and other basic need items.

UWPC will be supporting agencies through mini-grants capped at $2,000 to meet Pasco residents basic needs (i.e. food, toiletries, household items, etc.). Since its inception last week the relief fund has already received over $30,000 in requests.

This morning the UWPC Board of Directors agreed to recommendations set by the Allocations Committee for what agencies would receiving the first round of funding. Non-profit agencies serving Pasco County residents with procurement of basic need items such as food and hygiene products are encouraged to apply.
