United Way of Pasco offers Grant Opportunity for COVID-19 Response

Land O’ Lakes, FL - United Way of Pasco County (UWPC) is earmarking emergency relief funds in response to the virus and the growing impact it has made in Pasco County. The funding amounts for these grants aim to serve as many residents in need as possible.

United Way of Pasco County (UWPC) will be supporting agencies through mini-grants capped at $2,000 to meet Pasco residents basic needs (i.e. food, toiletries, household items, etc.). These grants will be primarily for currently funded partner agencies with consideration for unfunded agencies on a case-by-case basis. No funds will be allowed for operating costs.

Agencies requesting a mini-grant must currently be funded by UWPC. If not, they must present their IRS Letter showing their 501(c)(3) status, most recent Audit, and/or, most recent IRS Form 990. Agencies will be required to complete a simple web-based application identifying their COVID-19-related need and how their funds will be utilized. Documentation on all spending will be required to verify the use of funds. Half of the funding will be dispersed at award. Once proper documentation has been submitted for the first half, the remaining funds will be released to the agency.

Agencies will be required to report back to UWPC the number of clients served with the funding and how they used it. Applications can be found on the United Way Pasco County website https://www.unitedwaypasco.org/covid-19-agency-grant. For more information please visit www.UnitedWayPasco.org.
