Second Wave of COVID-19 Relief Fund Agency Recipients

Land O’ Lakes, FL –  Mid- March United Way of Pasco County (UWPC) announced that they would be withdrawing $50,000 from their reserves account and allocating it to non-profit agencies who are assisting clients with acquisitions in food, hygiene products, and other basic need items.

UWPC allocations volunteers met on Monday and reviewed 15 additional applications ($26,300 in requests) requests that were received in just one week. After carefully reviewing each application the Allocation Committee submitted their recommendations to the UWPC Board of Directors.

On Tuesday March 31st, the UWPC Board of Directors agreed to recommendations set by the Allocations Committee for what agencies would receiving funding.

Each grant request was reviewed on a case by case basis. Applicants are still required to meet the United Way of Pasco standards by providing proper 501C3 documentation and ensure that the award funds are for direct service. Awards are contingent upon required documentation.

Below is a complete list of awarded agencies for a total of $28,300 in allocations.
