Small Business Spotlight – Rockwell Financial Group of Raymond James

Brian and Julie Rockwell, Rockwell Financial Group of Raymond James

Tell us about your business and your business philosophy.

We take a goals-based and team approach to financial planning, offering a broader scope of expertise than you will likely find in any one person. Clients are our main priority. Which is why we work to understand unique circumstances and provide a roadmap for your financial journey. Together we help our clients take a conservative approach to growing and preserving their wealth.

Why are you passionate about your commitment to United Way’s Community Investment Fund?

We are committed to give back to our local community. We clearly understand the multiplier effect of our donation along with others in our community. There are so many in need and the United Way can best utilize our dollars for good.

What is something interesting or surprising that most people don’t know about you?

We met in a customer’s warehouse, volunteering to help count inventory. It’s true that when you give, you also receive – we’ve been together 34 years!!

What would your older self tell your younger self?

Do something every day to make someone’s life better. A smile, a hug, or sometimes not saying anything at all.  And to our kids- pick up that penny! Don’t ever discount compound interest!
