Tell us about your business and your business philosophy.

Debora Diaz Law is a boutique law firm concentrating in all areas of Family Law. We are a client and community focused law firm serving the legal needs of Florida residents since 1995 with exceptional customer service. My philosophy is to understand the needs and individual goals of my clients. There is not a “one size fits all” strategy. Every client is unique. I understand that most family law issues are highly emotional. Although I have handled thousands of Family Law cases this may be your first time in the legal system. I tell clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear even when it may be difficult. I work hard to resolve the conflict so that the parties may move on with their lives.

Why are you passionate about your commitment to United Way’s Community Investment Fund?

I am a member of the local community who supports local businesses and “gives back” to the community that I live and work in. I want to live a life that matters.

What is something interesting or surprising that most people don’t know about you?

I love looking at and being on the water. When time permits I am often on my jet ski. I love the tranquility of cruising the waterways. I also love sport fishing and have fished around the world.

What would your older self tell your younger self?

Appreciate every single day. There is always something to be thankful for.
